How to enrol

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) allows a person to receive recognition and credit for the knowledge and skills they have, no matter how and where they were attained, including overseas.

This can include skills from:

• previous study (including courses at school or college, through adult education classes or training programs at work);
• work experience (including both work that is paid and unpaid); and
• life experience (for example leisure pursuits or voluntary work).

All students enrolled in courses at ETETC Inc will be provided with a copy of the RPL information booklet outlining the stages in the RPL process. Recognition of prior learning is available to all trainees and will be undertaken in a manner that is fair and equitable.

Outcomes of applications for recognition of prior learning will be kept in the student’s file and the assessment records adjusted to reflect an RPL result.

The client must advise ETETC Inc of cancellation in writing.

 All monies will be refunded if cancellation occurs before any training or assessment takes place. Cancellation after training or assessment begins will attract a 20% administration fee and the deduction of the full cost of any training or assessment that was part of the enrolled course up until cancellation date.

Where do I start?

Traineeship can be:

• fulltime;
• partime;
• school-based.

The type depends on your employment arrangement.

Please note the ETETC does not offer employment to potential trainees.  Our business is delivering quality, nationally recognised training.

Training for the technical units within the traineeship is undertaken at our skills centre located at Unit 1/8 Findsbury Street, Newmarket.

Use of Content
You understand that all information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, messages or other materials (collectively “Content”), whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, are the sole responsibility of the person from whom such Content originated. Dealings With Course Providers, Advertisers and Sponsors
Your correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotions of, course providers, advertisers and sponsors found on or through the Service, including payment and delivery of related goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such third parties. You agree that ETETC shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings or as the result of the presence of such third parties on the Service.

Posted Content
You own the rights to your own Content that you post to the Service. However, you hereby grant to ETETC the perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free license to edit, modify, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use any Content (including any courses created by you) that you place on the Service, in any medium, and to sublicense such right to third parties. You hereby represent and warrant that you are authorized to grant all rights set forth in the preceding sentence.

Content Restrictions
You shall not upload to, or distribute or otherwise publish through, the Service any Content (including any courses created by you) that:

• is libellous, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, profane, pornographic, abusive, harassing or threatening 
• contains viruses or other contaminating or destructive features
• infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or violates any right of privacy or publicity
• contains material not relevant or otherwise inappropriate to the subject matter of a discussion board

We reserve the right to reject, delete, move or edit any Content it deems unacceptable without prior notice. You shall remain solely responsible for all Content posted by you. The ETETC online Content is the property of ETETC.

Fees & Payments
We reserve the right to change the amount of any fee or charge for the Service or to institute new fees or charges.

Information Collection and Use
ETETC is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We collect information from our users at several different points on our website.

Registration
In order to access some information offered at the website, a user must first complete certain registration details. During registration a user is required to provide at least their contact information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact the user about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest, site updates, and errors and omissions. During registration for a course a user is required to provide more detailed information. This contact information is required to contact the user about services for which they have expressed an interest; to supply usernames and passwords for the course into which they have enrolled; by the course administrator with course specific information. As a user you have the option to Opt-out of receiving some information via your contact email (see Choice/Opt-out below).

Order
When purchasing online we request information from the user on our order fulfilment form. Here a user must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer’s orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user.

Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Sharing
We will share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.
We use a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. This company does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we, ETETC, are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site, and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this website.

Surveys & Contests
From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as age and gender). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

Tell-A-Friend
If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the site. The friend may contact us at info@etetc.com to request the removal of this information from their database.

Security
This website takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.

Special Offers
We may send new members a welcoming email to verify password and username. Established members will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Please see our choice and opt-out below.

Site and Service Updates
We also send the user site and service announcement updates. Members are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. We communicate with the user to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account via email or phone.

Correction/Updating Personal Information:
If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (such as your delivery details), or if a user no longer desires our service, we will endeavour to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user’s personal data provided to us. This can be done by emailing info@etetc.com.

Choice/Opt-out
Our users are given the opportunity to opt-out of having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site at the point where we ask for the information.
Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter or promotional materials may opt-out of receiving these communications.
Users of our site are always notified when their information is being collected by any outside parties. We do this so our users can make an informed choice as to whether they should proceed with services that require an outside party, or not.

Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our Homepage so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner.
